Judy and I were coming home from Ithaca one night in November and on a whim I suggested we try the Tioga Trails Cafe. It just so happened that Johanna & Burt were playing there that night.
It was a "magical" night for us. They played song after song that we both knew and loved, and did it great! Burt on electric guitar and playing the flute, and Johanna on keyboard as well as both singing. It was a small crowd that night; but Judy lit up like I had never seen her before; like someone had just flipped a switch. We were singing along with Johanna & Burt as we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We both knew we would be seeing them again. We asked to be added to their mailing list so we could come see them perform again. Since then we have gone to see them perform a few more times. We have asked them to provide music for our wedding reception, and hope you all will enjoy their music as much as we do. They do not have a website yet, but here is a picture.
